Werewolf Frenzy Readathon

This is something we just started in January in My Vampire Book Obsession. Readathon’s are popular enough throughout Goodreads but ours is the best 😉 (they’re pretty much all the same but we have Vampire Hearts!).

We had our first one on the last weekend of January and it proved to be one our most popular challenges so far!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Beginning Thursday 26th January read as many pages as possible over 4 days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
You can set a goal for yourself or just see how many pages you can read.

This isn’t a competition. You don’t have to read more than anyone else, just more than you usually would. Everyone reads at different speeds, for some people 50 pages over the four days is a lot, for others it may be 1000!

The point is to read more and have fun.

In your post, include the book you’re reading and the number of pages read each day.

I aimed for 500 pages but didn’t quite make it. A lot of people taking part surpassed the goals by hundreds!

My Post

Target: 500 pages
Thursday: The Darkest Passion pg330 – pg480 = 150 pages Cold Days 4hrs
Friday: Kitty and the Midnight Hour pg1 – pg193 = 193 pages
Saturday: Kitty and the Midnight Hour pg193 – pg259 = 66 pages
Sunday: Darkfever 50pages
Total Pages Read: 459 + 4hours audio

The Darkest Passion (Lords of the Underworld #5) by Gena Showalter Cold Days (The Dresden Files, #14) by Jim Butcher Kitty and the Midnight Hour (Kitty Norville #1) by Carrie Vaughn Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning

Earn this Vampire Heart
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I wrote this mini challenge for My Vampire Book Obsession cause we needed a little somethin’ somethin’ for the new year. Only 6 tasks so it was pretty quick.

In our group, you can collect Vampire Hearts for completing challenges and taking part in others ways in the group. You get a tracking thread to keep all the perdy hearts you earn. This is my page if you’re interested in joining in and wanna see what it’s all about.

I’m totally obsessed with reading challenges. I’m taking part in about 30 of them at the moment across Goodreads. I’m not going to start posting every challenge I’m in just the ones I really enjoy.

Here’s my completion post for the challenge.
